None! You should look for something with a good reliability history such as Honda Civic, Ford Fusion, Ford Focus, or Ford Fiesta. The Ford Fiesta or Focus will be the cheapest. All get EXCELLENT fuel economy with the Fiesta being the best at 40mpg.

Subaru . Car Insurance for 4 months?

Car Insurance for 4 months? Hi guys, I'm back with my parents for about 4 months, and I would like to drive the car. To do this, obviously I need to have insurance activated (secondary driver). They are saying that they "need" to charge me for a year that. Saying that I might come home and drive the car. Meaning, for 8 months I would be paying for nothing. Because I'll be in another city, not even close to the car. 1) If I did come home, I wouldn't drive the car without insurance 2) I don't even come home during the school year, and there is a chance that I won't come home for the summer Do I have any grounds on this? I think the insurance salesperson just wants to gouge money. car insurance.

Subaru . How to Replace Tail Lights on a Toyota Sienna

The tail light bulbs in your Sienna will fail over time from the consistent wear and tear associated with periodic use. However, damage can occur, and most often does, from a water leak around the tail light assembly. This can happen from a dry-rotted seal around the assembly. Cracks or holes in the tail light lens can also lead to dirt contamination. With a few tools, you can replace the Toyota Sienna's defective tail lights right at home. The repair should take you no more than one hour to complete.
Difficulty:Moderately Easy
Instructions Things You'll Need
Socket wrench set
Phillips screwdriver
Latex gloves
Dielectric grease

Step by Step :
1
Turn on your Sienna's tail lights and proceed to the rear of the vehicle. Identify which of the tail light bulbs have burned out and then turn the power back off. Pull the hood release lever located on the driver's side interior, beneath the dashboard.
2
Raise the hood and remove the black cable from the battery with a socket wrench. The black cable is the negative cable. There should also be a negative sign (-) next to it, on top of the battery.
3
Lift and properly support the lift-gate at the rear. On the inner side of the tail light assembly, you should see two small bolts. Remove both of them with the socket wrench.
4
Grasp the tail light assembly with both hands and slowly pull it toward you, away from the frame. Use care, because there are wires connected to the assembly.
5
Remove the taillight socket by rotating it a quarter turn counterclockwise to unlock it from the assembly. Pull the socket away from the tail light assembly slowly.
6
Remove the defective bulb by grasping it gently between three fingers. Pull the bulb straight out of the socket. Put on a pair of latex glove and open the new bulb's packaging.
7
Apply a small hair line bead of dielectric grease on the metal contacts at the bottom of the bulb. If the grease gets on the glass, discard the bulb and start again with a new bulb. Insert the new bulb back into the socket and gently push it down into place.
8
Return the socket back to its original position in the tail light assembly. Lock the socket in place by rotating it clockwise a quarter turn. Remount the tail light assembly in the opposite manner of its removal. Return and tighten the two tail light assembly bolts with your socket wrench. Shut the lift-gate.
9
Reconnect and secure the black cable to the battery with your socket wrench. Shut the hood and turn on the power to the tail lights once more to check the repair.

Subaru . How to Replace Jeep Liberty Tail Lights

The tail lights on the Jeep Liberty are enclosed in a plastic assembly with the bulbs mounted inside. To access the bulbs, you must first remove the assembly from the Jeep, but you can remove it in a few minutes with basic hand tools. The bulbs used in the tail light are standard 3057 bulbs, available at any auto parts store. These bulbs have a dual filament so they operate both the brake and tail lights.
Difficulty:Easy
Instructions Things You'll Need
Socket set
Ratchet
Phillips head screwdriver

Step by Step :
1
Open the lift gate of your Jeep and locate the retaining screws along the inner edge of the tail light assembly. Remove the screws with a socket and ratchet and set them aside.
2
Separate the tail light assembly from the rear of the Jeep and locate the electrical connector on the rear of the assembly. Depress the locking tab and pull the connector away from the tail light back plate.
3
Remove the two screws that hold the back plate to the tail light assembly with a Phillips head screwdriver then separate the back plate from the tail light. Grasp the bulb and pull it straight out of the back plate. Discard it.
4
Install a new 3057 bulb into the back plate, pushing it in until it seats firmly in the socket. Install the back plate on the rear of the tail light assembly then install the two retaining screws and tighten them with the Phillips head screwdriver.
5
Position the tail light assembly on the rear of the Jeep, install the retaining screws and tighten them with a socket and ratchet. Do not over-tighten these screws or you will crack the plastic assembly. Close the lift gate and test the light by turning on the head light switch.

accelerator pump arm to see how freely it moves. (The arm is the little lever, not the big one; that's the throttle.) If the lever doesn't move, try pushing it with your finger. If it still doesn't move, it may be caught on something. Try bending it a little to clear the obstruction. If the accelerator pump arm moves freely when someone steps on the gas pedal, take a look down the carburetor barrel to see whether fuel is squirting in when the accelerator pump arm moves. If there's no fuel action, the carburetor probably needs to be rebuilt (which involves taking it apart, cleaning it, and replacing various parts) or replaced. If you need a new carburetor, you may be just as well off getting a cheaper, rebuilt one. The sections "Installing a New or Rebuilt Carburetor" and "What to Do When All Else Fails," later in this chapter, provide your alternatives. Adjusting your accelerator pump arm Some accelerator pumps have more than one hole where the arm hooks up, to enable you to adjust the arm. Adjusting for a shorter stroke (so that the arm moves a shorter distance) gives you a leaner mixture of fuel and air; a longer stroke gives you a richer one. If your accelerator pump arm is moving O 7C Part III: Keeping Your Car in Good Condition, System by System when the gas pedal is stepped on, and fuel is squirting into the venturi when the arm is pushed, but you're still having acceleration problems, try adjusting the arm for a longer stroke. Follow these steps to check the speed at which your engine idles. If it's idling too fast or too slow, the next section has instructions for adjusting the mechanisms that control it: 1. Hook a tach/dwell meter to the distributor. See the section "Checking your distributor with a dwell meter" in Chapter 12 for details. (A plain tachometer will do, but a dwell meter without a tachometer is useless here.) 2. Remove the air cleaner, following the instructions given earlier in this chapter. 3. With the emergency brake on and the car in Park or Neutral, start the car and let it run until the engine is hot and the butterfly valve on the choke is fully open. 4.

*
When the engine is hot enough, turn the knob on the tach/dwell meter to "tach" and look on the rpm line of the meter to see at how many rpm your car is idling. 5. Check that rpm reading against the specifications in your owner's manual or a service manual for your vehicle's make, model, and year to see whether the car is idling at the proper rpm. If your car isn't idling at the proper speed, you have to adjust your idle. Adjusting the idle is a simple matter, as explained in the following section. Adjusting idle speed <\V ^ Before you adjust your idle speed, you need to determine whether your vehi "~" cle has an idle speed screw or an idle air bleed screw, and whether it has an idle stop solenoid. If the figures in this section don't help you determine this (Figure 13-11 shows common idle speed screws, and Figure 13-12 shows an idle stop solenoid), either call and ask the service department at your dealership or consult a service manual for your vehicle's make, model, and year.

Adjusting idle speed screvfs If your vehicle has an idle speed screw, follow these steps to adjust it: .Chapter 13: Keeping Your Fuel System in Tune 1. Check your owner's manual to see whether the idle speed should be adjusted with the air cleaner off or on the carburetor. Most cars are adjusted with the air cleaner off. If there's a hose that goes from the carburetor to the air cleaner, plug the hose with a clean, lint-free rag after you remove the air cleaner. 2. Adjust the idle. If you have an idle speed screw (see Figure 13-11): Use a screwdriver to turn the screw until the needle on the tach/dwell meter rests on the proper number of rpm. Turning the screw inward (clockwise) increases idle speed; turning it outward (counterclockwise) decreases it. If you have an idle air bleed screw instead of an idle speed screw: Do exactly the same thing to adjust it. However, in this case, you turn the screw clockwise to decrease idle speed, and turn it counterclockwise to increase idle speed. Typical idle speed adjustment screws
